UZIEL Tree of Life Menorahs

Roots Hanukkah Menorah, Tree of Life Menorah

A leaning trunk on winding roots

The Roots Collection is named for the tree’s visible roots. The trunk leans to one side, and the eight branches grow from it in a single diagonal sweep to the other, like an ancient tree shaped by the wind. Winding roots grip the ground and give the menorah both movement and stability.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the collections?

The form. Canopy is upright and symmetrical, Roots leans on winding roots, Growth branches like a tree in bloom, and Flow is low and wide on a solid base. Each collection comes in four colorways.

Will my menorah look exactly like the photo?

It will have the form and colorway of the design you chose. Because it is painted by hand, the patterns and small details are unique to each menorah.

What is the difference between a menorah and a hanukkiah?

A hanukkiah is the nine-branched Hanukkah menorah used for the holiday. The seven-branched menorah refers to the Temple lamp.

How do I choose a Hanukkah menorah?

Choose a kosher nine-branched menorah first, then choose the form, size and color that fit your home. UZIEL offers 16 hand-painted designs.

Can a decorative menorah be used for lighting?

Yes, when it has eight lights plus a distinct shamash and is stable for safe lighting. These menorahs are made for Hanukkah lighting.

What does the Tree of Life symbolize in Jewish art?

It symbolizes rootedness, growth and continuity in Jewish life. In the Canopy, Roots and Growth collections, that idea appears through trunks, branches and roots.

What makes a modern Hanukkah menorah different?

Each hanukkiah costs ₪720 and includes a gift box. You can ask about availability and coordination at the next suitable Torah class.

Is every menorah in the collection unique?

Yes. Every menorah is painted by hand, so colors, patterns and small details vary slightly even within the same design.

Is the price the same for every design?

Each hanukkiah costs ₪720 and includes a gift box. You can ask about availability and coordination at the next suitable Torah class.
