A home of Torah and art
Uziel, 59, of Jerusalem, married and a father of five, continues the distinguished path of Torah and art of his father, Chacham Naftali of blessed memory.
Before the age of 30 he had already founded a synagogue and a mikveh and written a Torah scroll.
The artist behind UZIEL Gallery
Alongside his path in Torah, Uziel is an acclaimed Judaica artist working by hand, and his designs are sold in leading galleries in Israel and around the world.
At UZIEL Gallery, Judaica is a language: an expression of tradition, emotion and presence. Each piece is born where timeless Jewish heritage meets refined, international design, and is designed in Israel out of a deep connection to the land and to the spirit of local artistry.
Learning with the sages of the generation
Uziel is close to the sages of the generation and regularly takes part in their Torah classes and Kabbalistic tikkunim, among them those of Rabbi Chacham Moshe Tzadka, head of the Porat Yosef Yeshiva, and of the Kabbalist Rabbi Benayahu Shmueli, head of the Kabbalists’ Yeshiva named for the holy Rashash.
12 years of devotion
Rabbi Uziel regularly attends Torah classes.
“A person must think thoughts to devise sound and proper counsel for his fellow, and this is one of the foundations of the ways of kindness.”
